Hi Listeners, and thanks for stopping by our website...we hope you'll visit often! It's not easy being one of the last of the independents in today's radio world...but all of us here at WLIS/WMRD are thriving on the challenge. All of our hosts truly love what they do and it shows! Whether it's talk or music, we are a unique blend of local and syndication that strives to bring back the good time feeling and one on one bonding with the audience that only radio can deliver. Oh sure we're quirky, some would even say strange, and in my case just plain crazy.

Now that's enough about the jerks I work with, lets talk ABOUT ME!!!! I've had an interesting time on this spinning hunk of dirt we call home. I started in garage bands in high school, and being 1 of only 2 keyboard players in Milford CT, I soon found myself hooked up with an older group of musicians. By the time I was 16 I was playing in bars in New York, getting served, and developing my lifelong weakness for waitresses.

The 70's were a blur, but no one was seriously hurt. Although I did study with Bill Finnegan, Glenn Miller's arranger, and Jay Frederick, one of Muzak's star arrangers (OMG remember Muzak!!).

The 80's saw me try to go legit, yeah it took me 12 years to graduate college.  Data processing in a financial environment and father of 2...

The 90's...divorced, with custody of 12 and 6 year old sons (what was I thinking?)

Then in 1996 I again rolled the dice and got in to radio...

Which brings us up to 5pm Monday – Friday on WLIS and WMRD! Thanks to the kind graces of God and Management, I get to play whatever I please:

Mondays - I'm usually hung over and easily startled so we take it easy,

Tuesdays - it's tin pan alley, big band, jazz standards,

Wednesdays – it’s famous artists doing cover tunes of other artists,

Thursdays - the Blues...I'm broke, but lusty, so I’m cranky,

and Friday it's time to...well, it's time to do a whole lot of things that really make me smile…
